Harjinder Singh
B.D.S (Ncle), Diploma in Implantology (Gothenburg)
Jin', qualified at Newcastle Dental School in 1990 where he worked as a house office before starting here in 1991. Jin is committed to providing a high quality of dental care.
He has attended many post graduate courses including a year long aesthetics course at Manchester, where he has gained Certificates in Cosmetic Dentistry, and an eighteen month long course in implant dentistry at Sheffield Dental Hospital. Jin also has advanced training in the administration of Botox, Restylane and maintains a special interest in all aspects of facial, cosmetic and implant dentistry.
Peter Halling
B.D.S (Ncle), M.F.G.D.P (RCS)
Peter has lived and worked in South Shields all his life. After qualifying in 1972 he joined the practice. He gained his Membership of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners (RCS) in 1996. He has held positions on many dental committees over the years and is a Past President of the Northern Counties Branch of the British Dental Association, Past chairman of the Local Dental Committee and is a past member of the former South Tyneside Family Health Services Authority (FHSA).
Graham Murphy
B.D.S (Ncle)
Graham qualified from Newcastle Dental School in 2005 and has been in general practice since. He has been with us for 2 years and his special interests are restorative and aesthetic dentistry. Graham is also very keen on Clearstep orthodontics, which involves the use of invisible braces to straighten and improve misaligned teeth. He also has BSC in biology which he gained at Newcastle.
Alison West
Practice Manager
Alison has been with St. Michaels Dental Practice for over 17 years. As well as being Practice Manager she is a qualified nurse and has had further training in dental implant nursing and facial enhancements. If you have any aspect of your treatment or visit you do not fully understand or are concerned about, Alison will be more than happy to explain and put you at your ease. No problem is too much for her and she always ensures things run smoothly both for the practice and the patient.
Emma Jones
Dental Nurse
Emma has been with St. Michaels Dental Practice for over 4 years and is also a fully qualified Dental nurse. She usually works with Mr. Murphy but also assists in the other surgeries. She is very friendly and will always have time to make your visit to us as pleasant as possible.
Nicole Mesie
Dental Nurse
Nicole has been at the practice 3 years now and has varied duties both in surgery and on reception. She usually works with Mr. Singh, but also assists in the other surgeries. She is very friendly and will always have time to make your visit to us as pleasant as possible.
Carole Allen
Senior Receptionist
Carole is a well known face at St. Michaels Dental Practice having been with us for over 20 years. As well as being a senior receptionist she is a qualified dental nurse and oral health educator. She is more than happy to explain any aspect of your dental or aesthetic care, please do not hesitate to ask as she is always happy to help.
Michelle Wood
Receptionist
Michelle is the latest addition to our team having joined us in early 2006. Michelle is one of our friendly receptionists and is always happy to help in anyway she can.
